Volunteer With Us
Concho Christmas Celebration happens because people throughout our community give their time to help create something special for San Angelo each Christmas season.
Give a Little Time. Make a Big Difference.
Volunteering is about much more than giving your time. It is an opportunity to meet people, strengthen community connections and help create the experiences that make San Angelo such a special place to call home.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to contribute to your community during the holiday season, we’d love to have you join the Concho Christmas team.
There’s a Place for You
Build Community
Events like Concho Christmas bring people together. By volunteering, you help create the welcoming atmosphere and community spirit that make the celebration possible.
Meet New People
Work alongside neighbors, local organizations, businesses and other volunteers who share a desire to give something back to San Angelo.
Make an Impact
Every hour you volunteer contributes directly to an event enjoyed by thousands of local residents and visitors throughout the Christmas season.
Become a Community Host
Community Hosts are the friendly faces who welcome visitors as they arrive at the Tour of Lights. Local businesses, nonprofit organizations, community groups, families and individuals can all participate.
Greet families and visitors arriving to experience the Tour of Lights.
Help distribute goodie bags and create a warm, welcoming start to the Tour.
Help collect visitor donations that support the operation and continued growth of the Tour of Lights.
Put Your Time and Talents to Work
A community celebration this large requires people with many different skills. Whether you enjoy working directly with visitors, helping organize activities or assisting behind the scenes, volunteering offers an opportunity to contribute.
Volunteering can also be a great opportunity for businesses, churches, civic organizations, school groups, families and friends to serve together while supporting one of San Angelo’s longest-running Christmas traditions.
